“Peace begins with a smile.” — Mother Teresa

In what unexpected places do you find smiles? Do you think they’re contagious? And how do your children (and their toys) cheer you up?

See more smiles at Beth’s later this week.

Unexpected smiles has been one of the, well, unexpected joys of having a little one! Around Valentine’s Day this year I was cleaning up when I found an incomplete card that said, “To Mommy and Daddy, I love you” It was the 4th V-Day card our son had made for us and I realized he was working on it the morning I was talking to a client and told him to not bother me.

Those are great pics – what a wonderful and subtle thing to notice.
