Bright Light, Big City

By sunlight or starlight or streetlight, this city is extraordinary. Sure, there are potholes. And terrible traffic. And run-down buildings. But around every corner there is something, something extraordinary, waiting to be found and photographed. The live sheep in the city nativity. The line of taxis in the piaţa. The flower stands near Mihai Viteazul. Everywhere, there is something. If only I remember to look.

  8. That city does look extraordinary and I think we’re so lucky to get a glimpse of it almost in person or at least through your ‘in person’ lens. My favorite light shot has to be the last one but all of them are pretty and SO interesting!

  9. Really amazing shots. I especially love the frost picture with the guy carrying logs (?). Looks like you are seeing all sorts of new and awesome sights!

    • They are homemade brooms actually. (I had to ask a Romanian friend.) Guys in the villages make them and sell them in the city. They are especially good for driveways and sidewalks, I hear. Who knew, right??
