“Why not just live in the moment, especially if it has a good beat?” — Goldie Hawn

How do you stop, or at least slow, the march of time? What symbolizes time for you? And don’t you wish you could pull off pink ruffles? (I know I do!)

  1. Blue ruffles maybe but never pink. I am not really a pink girl. Love your post thanks for sharing .

    • It’s funny, I’ve never been a pink girl either. Never. But my daughter most definitely is! She’s slowly helping me come around.

  2. I can’t believe how quickly time flies anymore. If only I could have back all that time in my youth that I was “bored.”

  3. Great Shots!🙂

LOL I can’t answer that thought-provoking question this late in the day🙂

  4. Time goes by way too quickly, that’s for sure…except when your a kid. :))

  5. Lots of creative photography of Time ~ Wonderful ^_^

  6. Writing is a way of stopping time for me. And yes, I’d love to wear ruffles…but maybe blue ones…
    😉

  7. Time moves so quickly I wish I could bottle it! I remember being young and my folks saying how quickly time goes by! Now I truly understand what they were saying! Ruffles, I’ll take them in any color!

  8. When I was little, my grandmother would say that ‘Time goes by faster, the older you get.’ I would always think to myself ‘That’s silly. Time goes by the same all the time’. Well, here I am many years later, sitting in awe at the speed which times seems to fly the closer to Grandma’s age I get!!!
I do know this – all of those photos you have taken of the kids and your fun day – they are going to be precious one day, when you can recapture the splendor of that day with the kids.
    Terrific post.
(ps – no ruffles for me ever. i am already way too ‘fluffy’ to begin with!)
